site.btaBTA Presents New Online Section, "Giro d'Italia 2026 – Cycling in Bulgaria"

The Director General of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), Kiril Valchev, is expected today, April 7, to present the agency's new online section, "Giro d'Italia 2026 – Cycling in Bulgaria", at a press conference at the BTA National Press Club in Sofia. The initiative is related to Bulgaria hosting three stages of the cycling race Giro d'Italia from May 8 to 10. 

The press conference will also be attended by Evgenia Drumeva, Deputy Director General of BTA, and Dimitar Velyov, Director of the Sports Directorate at BTA.

Participants in the event will also include: caretaker Youth and Sports Minister Dimitar Iliev, caretaker Tourism Minister Irena Georgieva, Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev, Veliko Tarnovo Mayor Daniel Panov, Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Plovdiv Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov, Nessebar Mayor Nikolay Dimitrov, Bulgarian Cycling Federation President Aleksandar Aleksiev, Bulgarian National Television Director General Milena Milotinova, and Bulgarian National Radio Director General Milen Mitev.
