site.btaTourists Must Know They Are Eating High-Quality Bulgarian Products - Dobrich Local Official
Many tourists do not realize they are consuming high-quality Bulgarian environmentally clean products, said Dobrich, Northeastern Bulgaria Municipal Council Chair Krasimir Nikolov, arguing that their awareness should be raised. The local government official addressed a forum on "Bulgarian Tourism - Summer 2026", organized by the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) at the Sts. Constantine and Helena Resort (on the Black Sea).
"The resorts on the Northern Black Sea Coast are in no way inferior to the Southern Coast," Nikolov stressed and singled out among them Sts. Constantine and Helena as "a role model for the entire country of how the tourism product should be developed".
The Municipal Council Chair also said that most of the resorts on the Northern Black Sea Coast offer products coming from the Dobrich Region. He called on the tourism sector executives to continue to rely on Bulgarian produce but also to promote it because tourists do not know that they are eating ecologically clean, high-quality food that are in no way inferior to the most expensive brands.
