Bulgarian pop legend Lili Ivanova received a standing ovation and returned for an encore after performing before a packed audience at the Summer Theatre in the coastal cities of Varna and Burgas on July 10 and 12, respectively. Both concerts were part of her ongoing 2026 national tour.
In Varna, after a set of 15 songs, Ivanova and her longtime backing band returned to the stage to perform Camino following prolonged applause and chants of "Bravo!" and "More!" from the audience.
Concertgoers welcomed the singer with a standing ovation as she took the stage and remained on their feet for much of the performance, singing along to some of her best-known hits. Ivanova was accompanied by the LI Orchestra and vocal trio LaTiDa, led by arranger and guitarist Angel Dyulgerov.
The Varna performance was followed by a concert in the coastal city of Burgas on Sunday evening, the next stop on what Ivanova's team has described as her final major national tour. Nearly 2,000 spectators packed the Summer Theatre to capacity. They greeted the legendary singer with prolonged applause as soon as she appeared on stage, and throughout the evening sang along with her to her iconic songs.
The summer leg of Lili Ivanova's tour has already taken her to Dobrich, Ruse, and Gorna Oryahovitsa, with additional concerts scheduled in Sofia, Plovdiv, Pleven, Shumen, Haskovo, Pazardzhik and Yambol later this year.
Although this is being billed as Ivanova's last large-scale national tour, she is expected to return to the stage in 2027 for a limited series of exclusive concerts in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas. A dedicated website has already been launched to allow fans to register for early access to ticket sales.
Earlier this year, Ivanova became the first Bulgarian performer to give two solo concerts at Paris' Olympia Hall, where she appeared on May 24. On June 12, she also opened the "BG Radio – 25 Years of Bulgarian Music" anniversary concert in Sofia.
