site.btaTeams from Europe, Asia to Compete at Panagyurishte International Fireworks Festival

This year’s edition of the Panagyurishte International Fireworks Festival will take place from June 26 to 28, the local administration said on its website Saturday. Teams from Estonia, Romania, and China will compete with pyro-musical programmes lasting up to nine minutes. 

The jury will evaluate the synchronization of the music with the fireworks and the emotions conveyed by each scene. 

The festival will start and end with a fireworks display by the event’s co-organizer, Fiery Chrysanthemum Ltd., which is not part of t the competition programme.

Last year, the competition for the most beautiful images in the sky was won by the German team.

Bulgarian performers will take part in the concert programme accompanying the festival. Over the three evenings, the stage at 20 April Square in Panagyurishte will feature the Viva Trio, Dara Ekimova, Robi, Tedi Katsarova, BNBend, B.T.R., Lora Kurudzhieva, Kristina Gocheva, Fiala Children’s Choir, guitarist Georgi Daskalov, and others.

The first edition of the International Fireworks Festival took place in 2013.
