site.btaGovernment Adopts Amendments to Agreement for Acquisition of Stryker Armoured Vehicle Ammunition

The government approved a draft amending and supplementing an international agreement for the acquisition of ammunition for Stryker Vehicles.

The approved draft reduces the value of the contract by USD 12,657,483 and introduces several changes to its provisions. These include a reduction in the quantity of ammunition to be procured, adjustments to the implementation timeline, and revisions to the contract’s payment schedule. According to the government, the proposed amendment does not reduce the operational capabilities of the Stryker combat vehicles as specified in Bulgaria’s original requirements at the time the agreement was signed.

The government has authorized the Defence Minister to sign the amendment, subject to subsequent ratification.
