A total of 26 international students are currently enrolled at the Plovdiv Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, the higher education institution told BTA.

The foreign students come from 10 countries across Europe and Asia, including Portugal, the United Kingdom, North Macedonia, China and Japan. Most of them are studying in Teacher Education, Fine Arts, and Music and Dance programmes, with specialties including Ballet, Pop and Jazz Performance, Music Education and Stage Design.

The academy pointed out that demand from foreign students has remained steady in recent years, driven not only by tuition costs but also by the quality of education, strong academic traditions, personalized teaching, and highly qualified faculty. Students are also attracted by opportunities to take part in concerts, performances, exhibitions, and national and international artistic projects.
