Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov said his party is proposing not just a reform of the current model, but an altogether new, different political model. He was in Kyustendil on Tuesday to meet with voters and back the MP candidates of Vazrazhdane in the 10th multi-member constituency.

The proposed model is based on independence, autonomous decision-making and placing Bulgaria's national interest at the centre of all policies, Kostadinov said. According to him, Vazrazhdane is the only political force capable of making Bulgaria a free, independent and prosperous state. He argued that all other parties are offering more of the same, which, in his view, has brought the country to the brink of survival and the verge of total destruction.

"Vazrazhdane is the only political organization with its own platform, Bulgaria 1400. It is a doctrine for governing Bulgaria," Kostadinov said, adding that his party is the only one willing to participate in leadership debates and does not shy away from them, though none are currently taking place.

He said he stands behind the candidates on the party list in Kyustendil 10th Constituency as someone who knows them, and is confident that they will do everything in their power for the good of Kyustendil and the region.
