site.btaCC–DB, Forum for Democratic Action Sign Agreement on Joint Presidential Candidate for 2026 Elections

The Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC–DB) coalition and the Forum for Democratic Action Monday signed an agreement to nominate a single joint candidate for the 2026 presidential elections, CC–DB said in a press release.

By signing the document, the parties commit to ensuring that the democratic community will take part in the upcoming presidential elections with a unified candidate who will consolidate support for the rule of law, Bulgaria’s Euro-Atlantic orientation and the fight against corruption.

According to the text, the joint candidate will be selected through a fair, transparent and inclusive competitive process based on primary elections, allowing the broadest possible participation of Bulgarian citizens.

The parties also invite extra-parliamentary political formations and civic organizations within the democratic community that share the values of the rule of law, anti-corruption policies and Bulgaria’s Euro-Atlantic alignment to join the process.
