President Rumen Radev has issued a decree appointing Maria Anguelieva as Bulgaria’s ambassador to Hungary. The decree was gazetted on Tuesday.

Under the Constitution, the President appoints the heads of diplomatic missions upon a proposal of the Council of Ministers.

In October, Nikola Nikolov was appointed ambassador to Armenia, Eleonora Dimitrova to Brazil, Dimitar Mihaylov  to Qatar, Natalia Uzunova  to Belgium, Elizabet Varbanova  to the Netherlands, and Georgi Vodenski to Kazakhstan.
