From June 27 until July 12, foreign military personnel and equipment will transit through Bulgaria as part of NATO's Alliance Wall Exercise, the Defence Ministry's press service said.

Convoys carrying troops and military equipment from the armed forces of France and Poland will use Bulgaria's national road network.

They will move from Romania to the Novo Selo Training Area and back under the escort of the Military Police.

Servicepersons from the Defence Ministry and the Bulgarian Armed Forces recently demonstrated their technical and operational interoperability during the NATO Coalition Warrior Interoperability Exercise 2026. The exercise took place at the NATO Joint Force Training Centre in Bydgoszcz, Poland, as well as at an additional field test site deployed near the airport.
