Vladislava Kazakova has been appointed Executive Director of the State Fund Agriculture (SFA), the Ministry of Agriculture and Food reported on Thursday. Her predecessor, Iva Ivanova, was appointed as Kazakova's deputy together with Ilya Ilev, Vladimir Atanasov, and Dimitar Gorov, while Petya Slavcheva and Maya Miteva have been dismissed as deputies.

Minister of Agriculture and Food Plamen Abrovski praised Ivanova for the organization she established to successfully conclude the Rural Development Programme. He also acknowledged the efforts made by Slavcheva to ensure the successful disbursement of funds from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development in late 2025.

Kazakova holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Economics – Varna. She has over 20 years of professional and managerial experience in the fields of public administration, project management, and support for agricultural producers. At the SFA, she has held various expert and leadership positions, including Deputy Executive Director for Direct Payments, Acting Director of the Plovdiv Regional Directorate, and Head of the Implementation of Support Schemes and Measures Department. She is fluent in English and Russian.
