Two new MPs of Progressive Bulgaria - Miroslav Mitkov from the Stara Zagora constituency and Tanya Gyuryusheva-Nikolova from the Targovishte constituency - took the oath of office at the start of a National Assembly plenary sitting on Friday. They were declared elected by the Central Election Commission.

Parliament ended the mandates of Progressive Bulgaria MPs Ilko Iliev, Mario Smarkov and Krum Nedelkov on Thursday after they submitted resignations. Iliev became the regional governor of Targovishte Region, while Smarkov became the regional governor of Varna Region. Nedelkov, who was an MP from Stara Zagora, was appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food.
