Annual inflation in the euro area is expected to reach 2.5% in March, up from 1.9% in February, according to flash estimates published by Eurostat on Tuesday.
On a monthly basis, inflation in the euro area increased to 1.2% in March from 0.6% in February.
Inflation in Bulgaria also rose in the third month of 2026, reaching 2.6% year-on-year, compared with 2.1% in February.
Consumer prices in Bulgaria increased by 0.9% in March compared with the previous month, after declining by 0.2% in February.
