Bulgarian TV Series "Mamnik" Receives Three Awards at International Film Festivals

The Bulgarian TV series Mamnik has won three awards at international film festivals, the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) said on Tuesday. 

The series won the Web/TV Series (Pilot) award at the Seven Continents Awards – SCA Los Angeles/International Awards in the US, Best TV or Streaming Series at the Alpine International Film Festival in Switzerland, as well as Best Web Series/Episode at the London Vision Film Festival in the United Kingdom.

In addition to these three awards, Mamnik is also a finalist in the Best Web/TV Series category at the Cinema Royale: Paris Edition international festival, which further confirms the international jury’s interest in the Bulgarian production, according to the team.

Mamnik, produced by BNT, Falconwing Studio, and Global Films, is a 12-episode crime mystery. The lead roles of Bojana, Lazar, Mitko, and Kamen are played by young actors Ekaterina Lazarevska, Gringo-Bogdan Grigorov, Mariyan Stefanov, and Yordan Rasin. Joining them in the series are prominent figures from Bulgarian cinema and theater - Vladimir Penev, Eli Skorcheva, Atanass Atanassov, Nikola Dodov, Mariana Krumova, and Galya Aleksandrova. The producers are Magarditch Halvadjian and Silvester Yordanov. The director and creative producer is Victor Bojinov.
