Bulgarian singer Dara, who secured Bulgaria's first-ever victory at the Eurovision Song Contest with Bangaranga, is set to perform at the 2026 MAD Video Music Awards in Greece, the organizers said.

The ceremony will take place on June 17 at the Tae Kwon Do Olympic Arena in Athens and is among Greece's most popular music events. Organized annually by music television channel MAD TV, the awards honour the most successful artists and productions from the Greek and international music scenes.

According to information released by the organizers, Dara has already completed rehearsals for her appearance at the ceremony. She is set to perform Bangaranga, the song that earned Bulgaria its first trophy in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

The organizers said the performance has been prepared by Greek creative director and choreographer Bill Roxenos. The stage production is expected to be one of the highlights of this year's awards programme.

MAD TV said Dara's appearance was expected to be among the highlights of the ceremony, after the Bulgarian artist became one of Europe's most talked-about pop acts following her Eurovision triumph in May. Organizers said audiences are expecting her to bring the energy and atmosphere of her Eurovision performance to the MAD Video Music Awards stage.
