CEC Spokesperson: Elections' Organization Going Smoothly, Five Parties and Two Coalitions Registered So Far
The Central Election Commission (CEC) continues the registration of parties and coalitions for the upcoming elections. Of those who have submitted documents so far, five parties and two coalitions have been registered, CEC Spokesperson Rositsa Mateva said at a briefing here on Tuesday. She recalled that the registration deadline expires at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. So far, ten parties and eight coalitions have submitted documents for registration, and all of them have submitted documents for participation in the 2-in-1 European Parliament and snap national elections, which are to be held on June 9, Mateva explained.
