NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg Arrives in Sofia
February 28 (BTA) - NATO Secretary General Jens
Stoltenberg arrives in Sofia on Thursday evening, at the
invitation of Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, the
government's information service said.
Borissov and Stoltenberg are scheduled to have a working dinner
where the two will discuss the cooperation in the area of
security and defence, and the stability in the Western Balkans
and the region.
Borissov and Stoltenberg will have a one-to-one meeting on March
1, followed by an extended meeting of the two delegations,
which is to be attended by Bulgarian Defence Minister Krassimir
Karakachanov, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva,
Patrick Turner, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Defence
Policy and Planning, and Lorenz Meyer-Minnemann, First Deputy
