PM Borissov Meets with Brexit Secretary David Davis
Sofia, March 8 (BTA) - Meeting with David Davis, the British Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said Bulgaria would keep up its close relations with the UK in the future because they reflect the two countries' interests and their strategic partnership in NATO. It is particularly important to maintain the excellent security cooperation, said Borissov.
The two concurred that the partnership between Bulgaria and the UK in politics, the economy, tourism and security will continue.
Borissov also said that despite Brexit, Europe should stay united and strong. For his part, Davis praised Bulgaria for the good EU Council Presidency.
