Romania Hails Bulgaria's Effortsin Relation to Security,Migration Flow Control
Bucharest, November 14 (BTA) - Romania gives high marks for Bulgaria's efforts in the field of security and control of migration flows, said Romanian foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu during a meeting with Bulgarian Parliament Chairman Dimiter Glavchev here on Tuesday.
Romania's top diplomat thanked Bulgaria for its refugee policy.
A Bulgarian parliamentary delegation is on a two-day official visit to Romania on Monday and Tuesday.
As a good example of parliamentary cooperation Glavchev noted a joint initiative of MPs from the foreign affairs committees of the legislatures of Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia which was set up in 2015 in Sofia.
The legislatures of the two countries should actively promote cooperation at all levels in regard to the European Council presidencies.
The Bulgarian National Assembly Chairman said that the European integration of the Western Balkans is crucial and will top the agenda of Bulgaria's EU Presidency.
